The City of Prescott Economic Development Office, part of the Tourism and Economic Initiatives division in the City Manager’s Office, was recently named Small Economic Development Organization of the Year by the Arizona Association of Economic Development. The award was presented at the AAED Spring Conference in Tucson, in April, 2022.

Prescott was nominated by a another AAED member organization. In the award recognition, AAED noted recent business acquisitions including CP Technologies, and a FedEx Ground facility which is scheduled to open later in 2022.

“We are proud to receive this prestigious award,” said Deputy City Manager Tyler Goodman. “Prescott is definitely on the rise, and it’s gratifying to be recognized by our peers across the state.”

In late 2021, Prescott also earned a Golden Prospector Award from AAED, for Deal of Year, citing CP Technologies.
